When Nature Builds a Living Bridge

It is indeed remarkable when humans use mother nature to its advantage by using the roots of the fig tress to build a living bridge. The photo below is a living example of how nature help people when utilized accordingly and properly. This living tree root bridge can be found in the village of Nongriat in Meghalaya, India. Villagers have been using the bridge for so many decades that it shows no signs of collapsing any time soon but of course the construction doesn’t happen overnight.
